Rosie Flatt is a freelance printmaker and illustrator. Since completing her degree in Illustration at Falmouth University, Rosie has specialised in intaglio printmaking, watercolour painting and tonal drawing studies. She is currently studying and working as a print technician at John Howard Print Studio in Cornwall, alongside freelance editioning work for a local printmaker.
Observation lies at the heart of Rosie’s practice. With each artwork she invites her audience to pause, reflect and meditate on the everyday. Rosie’s recent explorations focus upon the weight of stories behind familiar places and seemingly unremarkable subjects. As ever, her studies circle around her interest in the natural world and our complex relationship to the land.
